Main Features of RB Series
"Effective on stock to high performance vehicles over 600PS"
The exhaust pipe utilizes an 85mm straight pipe so it can be effective on stock to high performance vehicles with upgraded turbines. HKS Metal Catalyzer can be used together (the joint diameter is designed to 80mm). Also, straight through construction of the main shell internals and tail pipe improves the exhaust efficiency. The ground clearance is maintained to be the same as the stock clearance by the optimized layout and flange position.

The exhaust sound was designed to meet the JASMA standard, and the sound was created to be appropriate for a wide variety of situations such as "street," "idling," "cold start," "high speed driving," and "quiet driving." Also, a comfortable clear sound inside the vehicle's cabin is presented by eliminating the lower exhaust resonance.

The exhaust sound was designed to meet the JASMA standard even used with HKS Front Pipe and/or Metal Catalyzer.
* The sound level may be out of the standard due to the vehicle's settings and/or specifications.
HKS' original sound control technology created the "Slotted Tail" design.
The "Slotted Tail" was inspired by an owl's feather. The owl's feather-shaped exhaust tip has an advanced silencing effect.
Releasing adequate air from the tail can reduce the air friction vibration which enables the sound to be reduced by approximately 2dB.
HKS conducted intensive analysis of the sound level and frequency inside the vehicle's cabin and outside the vehicle. Therefore, the best exhaust tone was tuned for both inside and outside the vehicle. Also, the low frequency was eliminated to present more comfortable sound.

Diameter of center pipe is the portion that has the largest diameter. (Excluding silencer and tip.) It is the condition with stock suspension.
*2: Minimum road clearance between HKS muffler (Any parts included in the kit) and road surface. Therefore, it may be different from actual road clearance of the vehicle.
The data is basically the condition with stock suspension. However, please understand that some items have data with low down spring or ride height adjustable suspension kit.
