(Here is how we feel about these new turbos from Tomei. Short answer is that they work! The previous generation of turbo from Tomei left a bad taste in the mouths of GTR owners.  Tomei went back the drawing board and came up with something magical. The new Tomei turbos feature an IHI supercore and you can feel the difference between shifts. There is zero transient lag between shifting that we feel with the bushing turbos of the same size.  We feel this turbo really shines when its paired with a 2.8 and a Step 2 HKS V-Cam.  With this setup we get a super wide power band.  When a customer wants a 500HP build these are the turbos we install.)
